bonds
+bond/list
+bond/list <name>

Normal players can only track to whom their characters are bound, the number of drinks drunk of their character, and the number of drinks drunk of another character.

Architects are permitted to see all bonds.

boons (p. 1)

+boon/grant <person>=<type>
+boon/list
+boon/list <person>
+boon/release <person>
+boon/transfer <person who owes you> to <other person>

These commands help you to manage your character's interests in Prestation. See '+news systems/prestation' and '+news faq/prestation' to learn all about Prestation.

The four valid boon types are Trivial, Minor, Major, and Life.
---------- boons (p. 2) ----------

You can owe boons to any number of people, but only one per person. You can, however, upgrade what you owe someone. In other words you can +boon/grant a major boon to someone to whom you currently owe a minor or trivial boon. In order to record that you owe someone a boon, you use +boon/grant.

If you are owed a boon, you can release the boon with +boon/release.

+boon/list will show you what you are owed and what you owe to others.

+boon/list <person> will show you the boons owed and held by <person> -if- you have the necessary lores.

You can also transfer boons currently owed to you to other Vampires with +boon/transfer.

Examples:
+boon/grant Rachael=life
+boon/grant William=trivial
+boon/list <person>
+boon/release Woger
+boon/transfer Benedict to Lida

declare
- Declaring Your Sect -

Usage: +declare anarch
+declare camarilla

+declare anarch sets your Sect to Anarch, if it is not already, and gives you a default setting which bolsters your Anarch Reputation.

+declare camarilla sets your Sect to Camarilla, if it is not already, and gives you a default setting which confirms your bias to Camarilla Status.

Please be advised that the use of this command is optional. You can use one or the other of these commands, but you cannot use them both. Moreover, you can use these commands only once. To change your Anarch or Camarilla bias thereafter requires a very good reason presented in a +feedback/request to the Architects. See: +help ooc/feedback.

domain (p. 1)
Usage:	+domain/list
+domain/char <Character Name>
+domain/map <Map Coordinate>

+domain is meant to be used in conjunction with +map (+help ic/map) to keep track of which vampires control what portions of Los Angeles for purposes of Standing (+news systems/standing).

+domain/list identifies the active domains of Los Angeles together with their current Prince and map areas.
+domain/char <Character Name> identifies all territories controlled by the character.
+domain/map <Map Coordinate> identifies who holds domain over the designated map coordinate.

These commands are accessible only to Princes and appropriate staff.

+domain/grant permits a Prince to grant a territory in their domain to another character.
+domain/take permits a Prince to take a territory in their domain from another character
+domain/setprince permits staff to acknowledge a new prince of a domain.

For those who can examine the domain code, please note that there are instructions in it for how to add/remove domains from +domain/list.

faction (p. 1)
Usage:	+faction/list

+faction/members lists all members of a faction to which you belong.
+faction/online lists all online members of a faction to which you belong.
+faction/mail <faction name>=<subject> will send a mail to all the members of <faction name>.

Please note that +faction code is designed as an OOC tool to facilitate IC relationships. These IC relationships need not be amicable. Membership to a faction also comes with access to a channel (+help ooc/channels) of the same name.
---------- faction (p. 2) ----------
Configuration:	+faction/setinfo <faction name>=<text>
+faction/setpublicinfo <faction name>=<text>
+faction/setsecretinfo <faction name>=<text>
+faction/contact <faction name>=<text>

+faction/add and +faction/delete permits faction Admin to add and remove members to their faction.

harpy

Usage: +harpies
+harpy/elect <player>
+harpy/retract

+harpies lists all current harpies, including the Grand Harpy. Harpies have significant advantages in our status system. The Grand Harpy has even greater advantages.

+harpy/elect <player> presents your harpy vote for <player>. Whether you are a neonate, harpy, or Prince, you only get one harpy vote. However, your position affects how much your vote is weighted. Characters with a certain threshold of weighted harpy votes become harpies, which means they have the social clout of a minor primogen. The harpy with the most status is known as the Grand Harpy and has the status clout of a major primogen.

+harpy/retract reclaims your harpy vote so that you can give it to someone else.

name (p. 1)
Name Tracking Database Commands

These commands are intended to help you (the poor player) keep track of surnames, nicknames, clan-names, etc. that people might reference in RP without having to ask or look naive.

The system is, however, somewhat reliant on players keeping it up to date and accurate. Staff can make modifications, but submissions for names are solicited through these commands voluntarily.

If you note something amiss, please contact staff via +feedback.

+name <character>|<nickname>

This will return the names associated with the match-name provided.
Note there may be multiple matches, and it is up to the
player to sort a correct match in such cases. This is merely a convenience/reminder.
E.g., +name fox might return George and Evelyn
---------- name (p. 2) ----------

+name/register <player>=<name>[:<stat>:<level>]

This command will submit a match for a player. The stat and level are optional. If the name is generally known, then there would be no need for obscuring.
E.g.: +name/register Patric=Miller
If the name is somewhat obscured, whether a nickname only known in clan in domain, etc. then it would be set with an appropriate check.
E.g.: +name/register Alvin=A4:south-central lore:1

While the command is not intended to be foolproof, it should provide assistance in IC recollection of names. Submissions will be placed in a queue for approval by staff. Staff can make modifications later as required.

offices
	+offices <domain>

Lists officers (Prince, Sheriff, etc.) for the specified domain, if you have access to that information.
(Domain = Santa-monica, South-central, Downtown, etc.)

Please set your &position to represent your proper title.

Architects: Please make sure Domains are set to non-LA things for characters with Standing not belonging to LA itself.

presented

Commands:
+presented <domain>
Lists people presented in <domain>
+presented/add <char> to <domain>
Adds <char> to <domain> list
+presented/delete <char> from <domain>
Deletes <char> from <domain> list

Note: these commands are restricted in use by lores or your designated rights within a domain. Architects may use any of the commands.

prestige (p. 1)

Usage: Affecting Clan Prestige
+prestige/praise <player>=<reason> +prestige/retract <player>
+prestige/denounce <player>=<reason>

Discovering Clan Prestige
+prestige <clan> +prestige/long <clan>

These commands, in conjunction with the status commands (+help social/status), the boon commands (+help social/boons), and the social advantage commands (+help social/social advantage), administer the complex interaction of vampire relationships that determine advantage on social contests.

See '+news systems/status' for other details.
---------- prestige (p. 2) ----------
- Affecting Clan Prestige -

+prestige/praise <player>=<reason> is the command by which you use a prestige vote to support the clan prestige of <player>. You can only affect the clan prestige for your clan. The <reason> is how your character justifies the vote of praise, and the full text of the <reason> will be appear in an IC rumor. See also: +help ic/rumor.

+prestige/denounce <player>=<reason> is the command by which you use a prestige vote to denounce <player>. It works in the exact opposite of +prestige/praise.

+prestige/retract <player> retracts a prestige vote that you have given to <player>.

Generally, the older your character, then the more prestige votes you have.
---------- prestige (p. 3) ----------
- Discovering Clan Prestige -

+prestige <clan> provides a breakdown of all those of <clan> if they have at least a noticeable amount of that clan's prestige divides those listed into five broad categories based upon with the prestige of those listed is Noticed, Distinguished, Elevated, Mighty, or Magnificent.

+prestige/long <clan> provides a complete breakdown of all those who have a prestige among <clan> that is at least Noticed.

You must have some prestige in the <clan> and the associated lore to use and the lore for the clan in question. The first version of it will categorize everyone into broad bands that are meant only to arbitrarily group individuals, and which have no inherant meaning themselves. The second version of the command just provides a simple but more long-winded listing of who is at what status.

Note: These commands do not display those who are at prestige 0.

rumor (p. 1)
Usage:	+rumor				+rumor/show <number>
+rumor/arenas +rumor/start <arena>=<text>
+rumor/spread <number> +rumor/quash <number>
+rumor/investigate <number> +rumor/arena <arena>
+rumor/verbose +rumor/search <text>
+rumor/mine +rumor/watch <#> / +rumor/watch
+rumor/share <#>=<char>

+rumor is a system that allows rumors to be started, spread, quashed and investigated by characters. How effective characters are at doing this depends on their skills.

Any rumor has an 'arena', which defines the audience among which that rumor spreads. Each arena has a skill associated with it, this skill is used along with appropriate attributes to determine if you hear a rumor, and how effective you are at spreading, quashing or investigating the rumor. The City Secrets ability lets you hear rumors in _any_ arena, although it grants no ability in manipulating those rumors.

Rumors decay, they get weaker as time passes, unless people keep spreading them. After a few VR days, they begin to decay faster. All rumors will eventually die out. +rumor has a few surprises coded in, beware.

The +rumor commands are described in detail on the next page.
---------- rumor (p. 2) ----------
+rumor
list the numbers of rumors you've previously heard that are still
buzzing around, and shows you any new rumors you hear.
+rumor/show <number> (or <list of numbers> or (<low>-<high>)
show you the details of a rumor(s) you've previously heard.
+rumor/arenas
list all the arenas that you can hear rumors in, and the abilities
associated with them. This will be a LONG list for characters with
City Secrets ability (and Architects)
+rumor/start <arena>=<text>
attempt to start a rumor with <text> in <arena>.
Also: +rumor/start <arena>/overt=<text> will list you as originator.
+rumor/spread <number>
attempt to spread a rumor. Limited to one attempt per rumor per VR
day or so.
+rumor/quash <number>
attempt to quash a rumor. You can quash your own rumors. Limited
to one attempt per rumor per VR day or so.
+rumor/share <number>=<character>
Try to show someone online a rumor. Similar to /spread. Monitored.
+rumor/investigate <number>
attempt to find out who started, spread, quashed and investigated a
rumor. More recent activity is easier to pick up on.
+rumor/arena <arena>
Shows a summary for that arena.
+rumor/verbose
Lists a big spammy list of everything.
+rumor/search <text>
Searches PRE-HEARD rumors for <text>
+rumor/mine
Shows rumors YOU started.
+rumor/watch [#]
Adds # (if specified) to list shown via +rumor/watch for you.
---------- rumor (p. 3) ----------

We recognize that some players do not like the default colors used with outputs of rumor strengths. If you want to eliminate these colors, do the following:

&rumorstrength me=0

If you would like to choose your own color output, then do the following:

&rumorstrength me=<ANSI CODE>

See 'help ANSI CODES' for available ANSI codes.

social advantage (p. 1)

Usage: Determining Social Advantage
+status +status <player>
+status/glance +status/claim <player>

Ignoring Social Advantage
+status/ignore <player> +prestige/ignore <player>

These commands, in conjunction with the status commands (+help social/status), the boon commands (+help social/boons), and the prestige commands (+help social/prestige), administer the complex interaction of vampire relationships that determine advantage on social contests.

See '+news systems/status' and '+news systems/social contest' for other details.
---------- social advantage (p. 2) ----------
- Determining Social Advantage -

+status will list your own status and harpy traits (if any), how many votes you currently have, and how your votes are allocated among other characters. A status vote represents how much of your personal clout that you have invested in supporting or undermining the social position of others. Increasing territorial control (a.k.a. standing) is the most common way of acquiring additional social clout. Another way, and the most common route among neonates and youthful ancilla, is to earn the respect (a.k.a. harpy votes) of a sufficient number of vampires. With enough harpy votes, a vampire is known unofficially as a harpy, and he or she has the social clout of a primogen.

+status <player> will list <player>'s standing, title, and known social traits such as Camarilla status and anarch reputation. This command will also indicate whether you or <player> can claim advantage in social contests as referenced in +news systems/status.

+status/glance provides and abbreviated summary of the relative standing, titles, and social traits of everyone in your location, including where social advantage lies between you and each other person.

+status/claim <player> provides a verifiable emit that proves you can claim advantage over <player>.
---------- social advantage (p. 3) ----------
- Ignoring Social Advantage -

+status/ignore <player> is used to ignore the status or reputation of <player> that give <player> social advantage over you. This command has consequences. For a substantial period of time after using the command, you cannot use your own social traits to claim social advantage over other characters. Additionally, a rumor is generated that memorializes this occurrence, including a status disfavor against you. You do not need to use this command if, and only if, <player> -volunteers- to keep your insolence secret and all witnesses consent. To give Obfuscated players an opportunity to object the ooc command (+help ooc/ooc, p.2) must be used to negotiate.

+prestige/ignore <player> is used to ignore the clan prestige of <player> that gives <player> social advantage over you. This has the same consequences as +status/ignore.

standing
Usage: +standing <level>

This command will list the status and title of every person at the given level of standing. The standing level must be at least 2.

You will be highlighted in the list of your own standing.

status (p. 1)

Usage: Lasting Status & Reputation Commands
+status/support <player>=<reason> +status/retract
+status/oppose <name>=<reason>

Temporary Status & Reputation Commands
+status/favor <player>=<reason> +status/disfavor <player>=<reason>
+status/favor <player>/overt=<reason>
+status/disfavor <player>/overt=<reason>

Investigating Status
+status/investigate <name>

These commands, in conjunction with the prestige commands (+help/social prestige), the boon commands (+help social/boons), and the social advantage commands (+help social/social advantage), administer the complex interaction of vampire relationships that determine advantage on social contests.

See '+news systems/status' for other details.
---------- status (p. 2) ----------
- Lasting Status & Reputation Commands -

+status/support <player>=<reason> is the command by which you use a status vote to support <player>. This vote represents continuing support until it is retracted. Your own social traits determine how your vote affects <player>. If you have Camarilla status, your vote increases Camarilla status and decreases anarch reputation. If you have anarch reputation, your vote decreases Camarilla status and increases anarch reputation. The <reason> is how your character justifies the vote of praise, and the full text of the <reason> will appear in an IC rumor. See also: +help social/rumor.

+status/oppose <player>=<reason> is the command by which you use a status vote to denounce <player>. It works in the exact opposite of +status/support.

Examples of how both commands might increase Camarilla status:
+status/support Acton=He protects us from chaos, keeping a rightful order that keeps the foul anarchs away. [From a neonate of Santa Monica.]
+status/oppose Acton=He is such a fascist pig. Who does he think he is to destroy Joe and Bob all because Bob forgot to get fucking permission to embrace Joe. Fucking Elders. [From an anarch of South Central.]

+status/retract <player> retracts a status vote that you have given to <player>.
---------- status (p. 3) ----------
- Temporary Status & Reputation Commands -

+status/favor <player>=<reason> is the command by which you note a favorably impression of <player>. The favorable comment is the <reason>. The <reason> will be memorialized as a rumor. This command functions much like +status/support, except that the affect is much smaller and it degrades within a matter of weeks, at most. A +status/favor represents a singular, favorable impression that your character has of <player>. It does -not- represent continuing support of <player>, and it should not be treated as such.

+status/favor <player>/overt=<reason> is the same command as a normal +status/favor, except your character will be noted as the source. As a consequence, the affect of the favor will last about twice as long as favor that is not overt.

+status/disfavor <player>=<reason> is the command by which you note an unfavorable impression of <player>. It works in the opposite manner of +status/favor. +status/disfavor <player>/overt=<reason> similarly increases the potency of a disfavor by making your comment overt.

Note: These temporary status and reputation commands cannot be retracted, and they count against your total available (dis)favors until they expire.

statuslist
Usage: +statuslist
+statuslist/long

This command will provide a breakdown of all characters in the game who possess status. The first version of it will categorize everyone into broad bands that are meant only to arbitrarily group individuals, and which have no inherant meaning themselves. The second version of the command just provides a simple but more long-winded listing of who is at what status.

The long version will also allow you to track changes in status that have occured in the last 24 hours. If a person's status has gone up, they will be marked as green with a + next to their name. If their status has gone down, they will be marked as red with a - next to their name.

Note: These commands do not display those who are at or near status 0.
